After that you need to fillup your website address in the box provided below , and after that you need to submit the page verification request to facebook .

 it usually takes up to 30 days to get the status of your verification status , during this period you may get call on the provided number , or email ,or you may be asked to put a piece of code provided by facebook on your website , so that it could proof your genuinity . once facebook complete the verification process and if you found the genuine and real page owner , then a symbol of verified badge will be check marked on your facebook page.

It may take up to 30 days to get the status of your page verified , if you have all the requied documents and proof which are pre requested by facebook , otherwise the verification process may take up to 50 days in suspicious conditions.

What are the documents’ / id proof  required to upload  for verifying a facebook  fan page.

You need to upload the solid identity proof , which could easily proof the facebook employees that your page is authentic and genuine , for example if you are a celebrity / public figure then you need to upload and submit your own id proof like voter id card , pan card , etc . But if your page is a business or brand then you need to upload a document which could be able to proof that you are the owner of the brand / business , in such conditions you need to submit the business ownership document proof , tin , or vat , documents’ etc.

Is it mandatory to have a website for facebook page for verification ?

Yes , it is compulsory to have  your  website , when you are applying for requesting for page verification , since it is the easy source for them to check the authenticity of your page ,  They may ask to put a some thing on your official website which could proof that your page is genuine.

Is there any minimum page likes / page fans required to be eligible for facebook page verification ?

Facebook officially never disclose this thing but it is sure that if your page is having less than 1 lakhs fans it may not be interested in verifying your page , as according to a recent survey done in United states  , the statics shows that 90% of pages whose page like is less than 1 lakhs , is not get verified by facebook . in certain country where population is less , then for those countries / regions FB don’t verify page below 50k fans on page.

Do facebook allow me to change the name of my fan page after verification of page ?

Facebook usually allow to change the page name if you have page likes below 100 – 300 , once you achieve fans more than 300 on your page , facebook will ask you to submit a document proof indicating that if have either miss spelling , or organization name change with a genuine reason of changing the page name , once you submit the proposal , the employees will check and if they realize that your change is genuine , then they will allow you to make the page name change , but remember it will be allowed only once.
